  • Care

Freemasons are taught to practice charity and to care, to care not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole. WISCONSIN FREEMASONS CARE for the old and the young, for fellow Freemasons and their families. We care for our neighbors and our communities and we care about preserving our heritage while working to build a better future. We quietly show we care through charitable actions and deeds.

“To relieve the distressed is a duty incumbent on all men, but particularly on Freemasons, who are linked together by an indissoluble chain of sincere affection. To soothe the unhappy, to sympathize with their misfortunes, to compassionate their miseries, and to restore peace to their troubled minds, is the great aim we have in view. On this basis we form our friendships and establish our connections.”

William Preston, 1772.

About Wisconsin Masonic Charities

Wisconsin Masonic Charitable services provided important services by our Local Lodges in the name of Wisconsin Freemasons including:

Wisconsin Masonic Foundation

Three Pillars Senior Living Communities

Wisconsin Masonic Center

Masonic Service and Assistance

Masonic Youth

From the grants, programs and scholarships in place to the services our local Lodges provide, we strive to build upon and strengthen our communities in positive, meaningful ways.

Every person can make a difference and impact the lives of others.  Our benevolent causes are supported entirely by generous contributions from Wisconsin Masons and our families and friends.

Freemasonry instills in its members a moral and ethical approach to life: it seeks to reinforce thoughtfulness for others, kindness in the community, honesty in business, courtesy in society and fairness in all things. Members are urged to regard the interests of the family as paramount but, importantly, Freemasonry also teaches and practices concern for people, care for the less fortunate and help for those in need. In short: Freemasonry Cares.
