115 years ago, Brother Willard Van Brunt had a vision to serve his fellow brothers and their widows by providing a place where they could live out their lives in comfort. He set aside just over 200 acres on his farmland and his sprawling mansion located on the Bark River at Dousman Wisconsin for this purpose.
This marked the beginning of the Wisconsin Masonic Home. A senior resident facility that is deeply rooted in the Masonic original principles of caring for our brothers and their families in a manner that provides comfort and dignity to those who are approaching their sunset in life.
The Three Pillars signature was added to the Masonic Home name in the late 1980’s to give more definition to the guiding Masonic principles of this entity while clearly defining the three primary levels of service provided: independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing.
Three Pillars – Wisconsin Masonic Home has been recognized as one of the premiere facilities of its kind both locally and nationally. It is also one of the highest-rated for its sound financial management. All of this guided by the Masonic principles that lay at its original cornerstone – to serve prudently and proudly.
